Refunds & Return Policy

At Amphibious Rentals LC, we rent vehicles, equipment, and related items for temporary use in Oklahoma. We want every rental to be safe, functional, and ready for its intended purpose at the time it leaves our possession.

Refunds for Defective Equipment or Mechanical Failure

Refunds or rental credits may be provided when rented equipment or vehicles experience a defect, mechanical failure, or operational issue that is not caused by the renter’s use, misuse, negligence, accident, overloading, improper operation, or failure to follow instructions.

If a rental item fails due to a verified mechanical defect or pre-existing issue, Amphibious Rentals LC may, at our discretion:

Provide a prorated refund;

Provide a rental credit;

Repair the item;

Replace the item with similar equipment, if available; or

Cancel the rental and refund the unused rental period.

To qualify for a refund or credit, the renter must notify Amphibious Rentals LC as soon as the issue occurs and must stop using the rental item until further instructions are provided.

No Refunds for Improper Use, Misuse, or Damage

Refunds will not be issued for problems, breakdowns, damage, loss of use, or performance issues caused by the renter’s manner of use. This includes, but is not limited to:

Improper operation;

Abuse, misuse, reckless use, or negligent use;

Use outside the item’s intended purpose;

Overloading or exceeding rated limits;

Failure to follow instructions, warnings, or safety guidelines;

Operating under unsafe conditions;

Accidents, collisions, rollovers, impacts, or submersion;

Running equipment without proper fluids, fuel, oil, coolant, or maintenance checks required during the rental period;

Unauthorized repairs or modifications;

Use by unauthorized operators; or

Damage caused by weather, terrain, towing, transport, or storage while in the renter’s possession.

The renter is responsible for the rental item from the time it is picked up or delivered until it is returned and accepted by Amphibious Rentals LC.

Returns

All rental items must be returned on or before the agreed return date and time, in the same general condition as received, except for normal wear from proper use.

Returned items may be inspected before final acceptance. Additional charges may apply for:

Late returns;

Excessive cleaning;

Missing parts, accessories, keys, chargers, tools, straps, or attachments;

Fuel replacement;

Damage;

Unauthorized use; or

Loss of rental income caused by late return or damage.

Security deposits, if applicable, may be held until inspection is complete.

Early Returns

Early returns do not automatically qualify for a refund. Rental charges are based on the agreed rental period, and unused time may not be refundable unless approved in writing by Amphibious Rentals LC.

Cancellations

Cancellation terms may vary by rental item, reservation type, and rental agreement. Any cancellation refund or credit must be approved by Amphibious Rentals LC and may be subject to fees, scheduling limitations, or prior commitments.

Reporting Issues

Any issue with a rental item must be reported immediately. Continued use after noticing a problem may result in denial of a refund or credit and may make the renter responsible for additional damage.

To report a problem, contact Amphibious Rentals LC as soon as possible with:

Your name;

Rental item;

Date and time of issue;

Description of the problem;

Photos or videos, if available; and

Location of the rental item.

Final Determination

Amphibious Rentals LC reserves the right to inspect the rental item and determine whether an issue was caused by a defect, normal mechanical failure, improper use, misuse, negligence, or damage. Refunds, credits, repairs, replacements, and damage assessments are determined at the discretion of Amphibious Rentals LC and in accordance with the rental agreement.

This policy is subject to the terms of the signed rental agreement. In the event of a conflict, the signed rental agreement will control.
